It is both an honor and gives me immense pleasure to welcome the honorable Vice-chancellor, Pro-vice chancellor (Academic), Pro-vice chancellor (Admin), Pro-vice chancellor (Research & Development), Treasurer, Dean’s, Registrar, Proctor & departmental chairpersons, Faculty members, teachers, students, physicians & surgeons, officers, staffs & stakeholders to Bangladesh Medical University.

As Director (Finance & Accounts), I am committed to help the administration to excellence in medical education, research, healthcare services & institutional development. The finance, accounts & audit division plays a vital role in supporting this mission through transparency, accountability & efficient financial management that strengthens the university’s administrative, clinical & research functions through sound financial planning and good governance.

Our division remains committed to maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in budgeting, accounting, auditing, procurement, and financial reporting, while ensuring full adherence to government regulations, university statutes, and established financial roles and regulations.

In today’s rapidly evolving academic and healthcare landscape, effective financial governance is essential for sustainable growth and operational excellence. We work diligently to ensure responsible financial planning, efficient budget management, strong internal control, audit compliance, and the proper utilization of resources in alignment with institutional policies and government guidelines.

We are equally dedicated to promoting professionalism, accountability, and excellence across all financial activities. Through efficient administration and systematic audit practices, we strive to strengthen institutional transparency and foster confidence among all stakeholders, including physicians, surgeons, general practitioners, faculty members, students, officers, nurses, staff, government agencies, and development partners.

The finance, accounts & audit division continuously works to further improve operational efficiency by adopting modern financial management practices and digital systems. We strongly believe that technology-driven financial administration enhances accuracy, transparency, service delivery & overall institutional performance. Our goal is to establish a responsive and sustainable financial environment that effectively supports the university’s academic, research & healthcare objectives.
